Senior Manager, Email Optimization
Charlene is an CRM + database marketing expert at Smart Panda Labs, where she oversees email marketing strategy and optimization tactics. She is an accomplished marketing professional with a broad range of digital experience, including online marketing, project management, content management, digital design, email marketing, user experience and ecommerce. Charlene has worked across numerous industries including litigation, luxury hotels, and leisure/travel and tourism, providing expertise in Sparklist email marketing software, Litmus Testing, SalesForce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget, Experian Marketing Services/CheetahMail and Adobe Creative Suite. Prior to joining the team at Smart Panda Labs, she worked as Email Marketing/CRM Associate for Universal Orlando and Digital Project Manager for Marriott Vacations Worldwide. Charlene is a Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist.

Director, Digital Acquisition
Lisa heads the firm’s search engine marketing practice and brings more than 15 years of experience to Smart Panda Labs, where she implements and manages a variety of paid search campaigns for clients, each with unique budgets and goals. Her areas of specialty include paid search and search engine optimization, social media optimization and social media ads (YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter advertising), internet marketing, display ads, email marketing, CRM, affiliate marketing, direct mail and web analytics. Prior to joining Smart Panda Labs, Lisa was a Search and Auction Media Manager for the Walt Disney Company for over eight years, where she managed extensive, multi-million dollar paid search campaigns for numerous Walt Disney Parks & Resorts websites and brands. She has also worked in marketing for Cox Target Media/Valpak and American Express. Lisa is a Bing Ads Accredited Professional and is Google AdWords qualified in search, display, video, mobile and shopping.

Director of Database Marketing + CRM
Alex heads up the firm’s CRM + database marketing division and is responsible for business development. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he has worked across numerous industries, including the federal government, luxury/hospitality and healthcare, working with organizations like Richemont Cartier, the Walt Disney Company, the Central Intelligence Agency and Orlando Health. Across his various roles, his passion for testing and optimization has allowed him to spearhead several successful initiatives, some of which have been featured in MarketingSherpa’s case studies and presented at MecLab’s Digital Marketing Summit. Alex has proficient expertise in numerous CRM and email deliverability and service providers including, but not limited to Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, Marketo, ReturnPath and Microsoft Dynamics. Alex is a Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist.

Tu manages analytical design implementation to meet our client’s digital analytics + intelligence needs. She is an analytics professional with more than five years of experience using data-driven analysis to guide clients in optimizing their site and increasing revenue. Previous to Smart Panda Labs, Tu was a Senior Analyst for YP (formerly AT&T Interactive), where she was responsible for deep-dive analysis across multiple platforms and analytics project management on yellowpages.com, m.yp.com and YPMobile apps (phones, tablets) and at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online, where she was lead analyst for several Disney sites including disneyaulani.com, and hongkongdisneyland.com. She is an Adobe Analytics: Reporting and Analytics Certified Expert and is Google Analytics Certified.

Managing Partner + Senior Consultant
Shamir is responsible for business management and leads the firm’s analytics + intelligence and conversion rate optimization practices. He has worked across a number of industries, from travel to entertainment to technology, working with brands like Southwest Airlines, The Walt Disney Company, and NBC Universal. During his last 15 years in marketing Shamir has held leadership roles, overseeing everything from product management to digital strategy, including user experience design, web development, testing and web analytics. Prior to Smart Panda Labs, Shamir was the Senior Director of Digital Strategy and Services for Marriott International’s Vacation Club Division.

Senior Manager, Analytics + Optimization
Jessica is an analytics + intelligence expert who applies her strong analytical skills and expert-level knowledge of digital marketing and analytics software to make recommendations and drive value for smart panda’s clients. She was previously the Manager of Web Analytics & Intelligence for Marriott Vacations Worldwide and the primary analyst for Disneyworld.com, where she was responsible for advanced segmentation analysis, A/B testing, campaign measurement and conversion reporting for large ($500k+) projects. Vice President + Chief Creative Officer
Cheryl oversees all of the firm’s information architecture and user experience (UX) design efforts. She has substantial experience designing online experiences for Fortune 500 companies, for both domestic and international markets, as well as implementing and testing UX/UI best practices, developing brand standards and building creative teams. Over the course of her career, Cheryl has led digital design projects and teams within The Walt Disney Company, Marriott International and The Ritz-Carlton.

Erich provides clients with analytics + intelligence as well as conversion rate optimization services. He brings a depth of expertise in best-in-class testing, analytics, optimization and tag management software, providing marketing technology support in Optimizely, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Tealium and Ensighten. Previous to joining Smart Panda Labs, Erich worked directly for Adobe Systems, where he consulted large clients on A/B testing and optimization best practices and, more recently, for Ensighten, where he helped marketing and IT departments implement tags and tag management software. She is an accomplished and versatile leader with 10+ years of digital strategy, product development and project management experience. Lisa builds and fosters relationships with our clients and among teams by promoting transparency and managing expectations. Internally, Lisa focuses on the goals and growth of team members, fostering an environment that encourages innovation. Her specialties include product development and management, digital marketing strategy and planning, Agile project management, partner development and relationship management. Prior to joining Smart Panda Labs, Lisa worked for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online for nearly eight years.

Brenda manages a variety of projects at Smart Panda Labs. She is diligent and detail-oriented, working with internal team members to deliver quality work that is on-time. Prior to joining our team of pandas, Brenda served as the Director of Development for the Heart Walk at the American Heart Association. In this role, Brenda developed and managed relationships with corporate partners in the Greater Orlando area to execute fundraising strategies. She also served as the Event Manager for the Heart Walk. This 10,000-person event required extraordinary attention to detail and coordination of multiple entities. Brenda holds a Master’s degree in elementary education with a specialization in technology in the classroom.
Director of Production
Jessica leads a wide variety of digital projects for Smart Panda Labs, always working to increase efficiencies in order to deliver on-time, quality work. Detail-oriented and a planner, Jessica keeps the whole digital landscape top of mind as she works through the task at hand. Jessica brings many years of experience leading projects in all facets of digital, from pay-per-click marketing campaigns and email campaigns to website redesigns and custom API integrations. She also has a background in various software technologies, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Omniture, Ensighten and numerous content management systems and email service providers. Her previous experience includes Marriott Vacations Worldwide where she oversaw digital project management as the Manager of Online Production and Services. Prior to that, she spent time at The Richard Petty Driving Experience, the Kansas Speedway, and an eCommerce auction website dedicated to motorsport memorabilia.
Vice President + Senior Consultant
Ravi oversees web development and engineering at Smart Panda Labs. His leadership in front-end development, back-end engineering, and web content management make him an important asset to the entire smart panda team and our clients. He is particularly adept at making processes more streamlined and has positively affected various web projects with his technical skills and programming acumen, possessing years of experience across various diverse technology stacks. He was formerly the Senior Manager of Web Development at Marriott Vacations Worldwide for nearly 10 years.
Lauren oversees a variety of projects at Smart Panda Labs and ensures all projects start with a solid foundation and are completed with quality, on-time work. She always strives to exceed client expectations. Prior to joining our team of pandas, Lauren spent the last 10 years in the higher education sector. Her background includes managing short and long-term implementation projects for higher education institutions. The scope of projects she has managed included launching all aspects of online degree programs for multiple higher education institutions, such as the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School’s online MBA and MS programs. In addition, she has experience helping institutions like the University of Alabama-Birmingham launch their new TargetX CRM and online applications, both built on Salesforce, and online website chat tool, UChat. Lauren has a background in various software technologies, including Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, ExactTarget, Conga, SMS Magic, Informatica, Axiom, and DemandTools. She has a Master’s degree in higher education and a Certificate in Conflict Resolution, Mediation, and Negotiation.
